Since 2026, Tidewater CPR has been offering certified CPR courses and first aid training that meet VA & OSHA standards. Our affordable CPR classes empower you to respond with confidence in emergencies.
We believe the best way to learn lifesaving skills, such as those taught in our certified CPR courses, is through practice. Although we do not offer online classes, we provide essential skills sessions required to complete online training.
In our Heartsaver Course, we teach non-medical laypersons the skills and knowledge needed to confidently assist a victim of a cardiac or breathing emergency while waiting for emergency medical personnel to arrive. This course also includes First Aid training to enhance your ability to help in emergencies.
The cost of this American Heart Association course, which meets all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, is $100 per student. When a class consists of at least six students, we automatically rebate 25% back to each participant.
For corporate and government groups, the rate for a class of at least eight students is $575, providing a savings of over $300 compared to a full class of nine students.
In addition to our HeartSaver courses for the general public, we provide certified CPR courses that include Basic Life Support training, specifically designed for healthcare professionals such as nurses, CNAs, EMTs, and anyone working in the healthcare environment. Our CPR classes also fulfill the requirements for continuing education credits.

Our K-12 CPR training for schools and daycares includes certified CPR courses designed to equip educators and childcare providers with the skills to respond to emergencies involving children. This course follows the Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED curriculum, with a stronger focus on pediatrics and infants.
This First Aid training meets the standards set forth by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
We offer a 25% discount for ALL students and school employees on these CPR classes.
The rates for a class of at least six students is $500, providing an additional savings of $175 for a full class of 9 students.
This workshop focuses on providing essential skills for CPR, AED, First Aid training, and responding to choking in infants. While it is informative and valuable, please note that this does not lead to certification and requires a minimum of 4 participants.
The cost for this workshop is $25 per participant, and it accommodates a maximum of 12 participants. If you're looking to learn the basics of Infant CPR, this workshop serves as a great introduction.
